Hayling Island Rowing Race is based at the Northney Marina Hayling Island – home of Langstone Adventure Rowing and the Langstone Cutters Gig Club. Access is easy from the A3 and A27.
THE RACING ARRANGEMENTS
The visiting crews for the RHRR head for Northney Marina where parking and boat storage is available free. Register with the on-site Admin Desk and prepare your boat and crew for the off…
You Must:
- Attend the Coxes Briefing and
- Follow the Safety Requirements and On the Water Marshalls.
- Carry Lifejackets for all
- Have a VHF radio
- Carry a 4’x 3’ Flag.
Boats: The boats that are invited to contest this challenging course include: Cornish Pilot Gigs; St Ayles Skiffs; Solent Galleys; East Coast Gigs; Celtic Long Boats; Claydon Skiffs and other fixed seat craft capable of rowing in the testing waters of the open sea harbours and the Solent.
